I started studying English more than two years ago. I can’t imagine my life now without these lessons. Several months ago, I started working with Steve to improve my knowledge of English, and also to get practical experience conversing with a native English speaker. Everyone knows that, in order to really learn a language, you have to immerse yourself in it completely, feel it, and not be afraid to talk with native speakers of that language. Steve is an excellent teacher, and studying English with him is easy and straightforward. In the time I’ve been working with him, he has become more of a friend than a teacher. I can discuss all sorts of topics with him: future plans, work, new movies, literature, and in so doing I am developing my fluency in English. Another plus is that Steve is studying Russian, so he knows better than anyone how difficult it is to study a foreign language, and this means he has his own particular approach to the program of study, and his own particular teaching style. In studying with Steve, I have become more confident in conversations with clients, and my knowledge of grammar, and my reading have greatly improved. I am grateful to Steve for his ability to explain complex things in a straightforward way so that they are easy to understand.

I already knew that studying by Skype was a great opportunity to study with a native speaker, and also save time and money; then I came across the online school, Language Life. My choice was influenced by the straightforward and convenient payment methods, and also by the teaching staff.

I wanted to study with Florinda and, as I thought, she is indeed a wonderful teacher! She has teaching experience, knows the Russian language (she also knows English and French), which helps her explain the grammar, and she is mindful of the student’s wishes. The trial lesson and text helped in choosing the textbooks and in planning the lessons. I study twice a week. Each lesson consists of checking/analyzing the homework; grammar, reading, … but the main thing is that I listen and try to understand the living language, that we socialize and discuss different themes. This is the most important thing for me in lessons with a native speaker. Every time one lesson finishes, I can’t wait for the next lesson! THANK YOU FLORINDA!

I am very happy with my Italian lessons with Lara. Lara is professional and knows exactly how to convey the material that we are using in the lesson. Lara makes each lesson interesting and engaging.
