Work Experience

Alba is a professional teacher of Catalan with many years practical experience.
Since 1999, Alba has been working as a Russian language teacher at the state language school. Between 2005 and 2009 she was several times the head of the Department of Russian at the Tarragona Language School (http://www.eoitarragona.cat/).
In 2009 and 2010, Alba worked as a Spanish language and literature teacher, receiving for her work a stipend, at the VI Liceum of Adam Mitzkevich in Krakow, Poland (http://vilo.krakow.pl/en/).

From 2010 to 2013 Alba taught Catalan at the Moscow State University as well as the Cervantes Institute in Moscow (http://moscu.cervantes.es/es/), teaching courses in Catalan at the B1 and B2 levels, and Spanish at the C1 level.
Beyond her work as a teacher, Alba has a great deal of experience as a translator and interpreter from Russian to Catalan and Spanish. Alba took part in the Catalonia-Russia business forum that took place in Moscow in 2012.
Alba is the author of El Ruso de cada dia, and the editor-proofreader of Ruso curso completo de autoaprendizaje.
Alba is a regular and active participant in courses, seminars, congresses and conferences on language teaching organized by the State language schools, the Cervantes Institute, the Ramon Llul institute and the Ministry of Education of Spain.
