I decided to study Spanish because I knew I could not easily visit with friends living in Spanish-speaking countries. At first, I wasn’t really comfortable with the idea of studying Spanish by Skype, but there wasn’t any other option because my work schedule didn’t allow for travelling to any sort of language centre. I looked for a teacher for a long time, and was very glad to find Juan. Juan is a very talented and well qualified teacher. I didn’t really expect that lessons by Skype would turn out to be so comfortable, productive, and interesting. The time flies by; the lessons are planned very well, and the atmosphere of the lessons is friendly and pleasant. But the main thing is that I see results, and that is very inspiring!

I’ve been studying English by Skype with Clare for about a month now. After every lesson, she gives me homework, and we discuss the homework in the next lesson; we also discuss various topics. Clare is an educated and well-rounded person, and I can talk about any topic with her. I consider these lessons very effective in that they help to overcome psychological barriers and develop one’s language skill. I notice that I’ve already begun to say certain phrases and expressions without thinking about the translation.
