Laura is a Romanian teacher with many years of practical experience. She has experience working with students of different ages and language levels. As well as the Romanian language, Laura also offers classes in Romanian culture and literature.
Laura began working as a Romanian language teacher in Romania, in the city of Brashov. Since 2009, Laura has been giving classes in Romanian language and culture through Skype to students from all over the globe.
Laura also has a great deal of experience as a teacher of English to international learners. She began working as an English teacher at a school in Brashov and, following her move to Canada, she continued her teaching work, offering English lessons to immigrants.
In addition to her qualifications as a language teacher, Laura is also a translator and interpreter who works from Romanian into English. Laura’s background as a translator and interpreter contributes greatly to her skill as a teacher.
As a researcher into the traditions of Transylvania, Laura has published a number of articles in the Romanian journal “Observatul” (Toronto) and has organized seminars on Romanian folklore and customs.
Laura is a passionate teacher with a great fascination for her work. She prepares each lesson with care and constructs a lesson plan for each student individually.
