USAI was inclined to be very skeptical about studying a language via Skype, but I decided to try the free trial lesson. I liked my teacher, Serena, so much that I decided to continue on with lessons. Serena is very professional in the way she conducts the lesson; in fact, it doesn’t even feel like a lesson. She skillfully sees the gaps and unobtrusively instructs so that you feel as if you can already speak the language right away. Another great thing, of course, is that you save time not having to travel. I can’t imagine now a more effective way of studying. The school has without doubt a great future. Yulia manages the school like a perfect conductor, knowing which teacher is the best match for which student. I am learning Italian, and it’s my third foreign language. I am sure that, had I known about this school earlier, I would already have learned another couple of languages by now, taking into consideration the convenience, the reasonable rates, and the travel time saved.

BelorussiaI started studying English more than two years ago. I can’t imagine my life now without these lessons. Several months ago, I started working with Steve to improve my knowledge of English, and also to get practical experience conversing with a native English speaker. Everyone knows that, in order to really learn a language, you have to immerse yourself in it completely, feel it, and not be afraid to talk with native speakers of that language. Steve is an excellent teacher, and studying English with him is easy and straightforward. In the time I’ve been working with him, he has become more of a friend than a teacher. I can discuss all sorts of topics with him: future plans, work, new movies, literature, and in so doing I am developing my fluency in English. Another plus is that Steve is studying Russian, so he knows better than anyone how difficult it is to study a foreign language, and this means he has his own particular approach to the program of study, and his own particular teaching style. In studying with Steve, I have become more confident in conversations with clients, and my knowledge of grammar, and my reading have greatly improved. I am grateful to Steve for his ability to explain complex things in a straightforward way so that they are easy to understand.

RussiaI have been studying Italian for 8 months. For two of these months I have had the pleasure to study through Skype with a, in my opinion, with a charming, thoughtful teacher – Lara. Before I met Lara, I had two other Italian teachers who, probably, knew the material, but this was not the most important. There wasn't any “life” in the “live” lessons (I would go to the school and speak with the teachers face to face). The lessons followed a template, and already stale program. As I am a more spiritual person, this was not enough. I wanted to communicate in the language I was learning from a more internalized place. I wanted my learning experience to not just follow a scheduled program, but also to bring joy and, most importantly, a desire to continue studying the foreign language I had chosen. And Lara became for me exactly this type of teacher with whom it is pleasant simply to talk, not to mention the fact that studying Italian was enjoyable again. With regards to the school itself, I would recommend this school to everyone I know who would like to study a foreign language. And I'd recommend it not for its prices or its discounts, but for the professionalism of the people.

Russia, St. PetersburgChiara is a remarkable young woman and a wonderful teacher! Lessons with her take place in a relaxed atmosphere and the material is easy to take in. Everything is forgotten as you become fully immersed in the atmosphere of this beautiful country and language! It is truly effective! The conversations on various topics and the interesting exercises are a real plus. Detailed study of grammar is handled with apparent ease. I admire the fact that at the same time as she is teaching the lesson through Skype, Chiara manages to write down in chat the phrases said by the student, correcting their mistakes. Later, after the lesson is over, you can open the chat history and study the material in which you made mistakes. It's unbelievable how much it helps! I recommend her to anyone who is interested in raising the level of their Italian, and in particular the level of the conversational language. After a lesson with Chiara is over, you are in a great mood, with a smile on your face and a desire to speak Italian! Grazie mille, Chiara! Sei super 😉

SwitzerlandI'm really happy with my lessons with Kate. Kate has excellent pronunciation, she loves the English language and teaches it with pleasure. While she allows a lot of time for practising conversation during our lessons, she does not ignore grammar. She always speaks with me in English, which is very important for me. At the same time, Kate speaks Russian well, which can be very useful. Most importantly, she explains things well. I take English lessons twice a week and even after a short period of time I am already noticing results!

MoscowI’ve been studying English by Skype with Clare for about a month now. After every lesson, she gives me homework, and we discuss the homework in the next lesson; we also discuss various topics. Clare is an educated and well-rounded person, and I can talk about any topic with her. I consider these lessons very effective in that they help to overcome psychological barriers and develop one’s language skill. I notice that I’ve already begun to say certain phrases and expressions without thinking about the translation.

RussiaI'd like to share my feelings about about my studies and to thank my Italian teacher, Lara. Through the course of my lessons, I have come to see several positive outcomes. First of all, these are individual lessons at a time that is convenient for me. But the most important thing is that these lessons have augmented the level of my ability. As I am not a beginner Italian student, it was very important to me to find a teacher who was a native speaker. And it seems to me that I have been very lucky in finding Lara. She is a very open person and it is apparent right away that she wants to pass on to others the skills that she has mastered. The lessons are very informative. As she is a native speaker, Lara gives me a lot in the way of new vocabulary, and she presents the grammar material really well. Of course, conversation with her aids in the development of my conversational Italian, the level of which has significantly done down due to a lack of practice. It is with great pleasure that I express my thanks to her for the wonderful lessons and recommend Lara to anyone interested in studying Italian!

RussiaGood day. I have been studying with Amalia for several months now. My interest in Greek is related to the fact that for half of the year I live and work on the island of Crete. My work does not require a knowledge of Greek (when needed I use English), but I wanted to begin studying Greek in order to become further immersed in this country that I love. When I began to look for a teacher on the internet, I saw many ads offering Greek lessons, but all the teachers were Russians who had lived for years in Greece, and my goal was to find a native speaker. For this reason I was very happy when I found Amalia. She knows several foreign languages, among them Russian. She doesn't speak Russian perfectly (in my view this is, in principle, impossible), but she has enough of a command of the language that I can easily understand her. Lessons with her are very entertaining, she selects materials for each lesson carefully, and always prepares interesting exercises. I don't perceive my lessons with her as work or study. For me, it is a way to relax, a hobby. I am pleasantly and, most importantly, usefully passing my time. I think that a large role is played here, not only by Amalia's professional but also her human qualities. She is a very pleasant, gentle, and kind person, and she is always calm when explaining the material to me several times if I don't understand something. If you want learning a foreign language to not be hard work, but for it to be a pass-time from which you derive pleasure and that you look forward to with impatience, then I recommend studying with Amalia. The first lesson is free, so you can always refuse further lessons. But personally, it didn't even enter my head to refuse. After the trial lesson I immediately registered for the next lesson.

RussiaWe started studying French as total beginners; it was also our first experience of studying via Skype. We had a few misgivings, but the fact is that if you have a high speed internet connection, it’s just the same as private lessons with lots of advantages. We don’t have to spend time travelling to classes, and we can study anywhere, even when travelling. Lessons are easy-going and pleasant, and we look forward to each lesson. We listen to recordings, do exercises, and receive all necessary documents by email. Marie is a good teacher, and the lessons go by quickly and are interesting. She shows attention to detail, which is very important for beginners. The materials, too, are very well chosen.
As far as the work of the school itself is concerned, everything is done very efficiently: we corresponded with Yulia; she chose a teacher for us; we transferred the money, and right away began our studies.

Russia, MoscowThere is a wide selection of Italian teachers in Moscow, but despite this, for a long time I was unable to find a real professional amongst the native speakers. Everyone knows that much depends on your guide in the interesting world of foreign languages, the person who will strengthen your desire to delve into the most complicated grammatical peculiarities and will help you enrich your speech with beautiful and correct turns of phrase. How I've gotten lucky! After two years of studying my favourite language at different centres I took up individual lessons with Chiara! She speaks Russian fluently and can therefore understand the mistakes her students make due to their native language. I have always been very pleased with the variety in materials (she provides not only textbooks, but also newspaper articles, audio, and video) which she uses in the lessons with detailed explanations of the subtleties of the Italian language. Already I have begun to feel notice significant progress! After Chiara left Russia, I decided to continue studying with her, namely in order to prepare for the CELI exam, but through Skype. Lessons are, as before, intensive, entertaining, but with an emphasis on writing, review of various subjects, retelling situations and practising pronunciation. Working with Chiara I really appreciate how she responds quickly to all my questions and difficulties that arise in my individual work, how she carefully checks, corrects, and elaborates upon the written texts, and during our lessons points out my mistakes to me. I am happy to recommend this energetic, sensitive teacher who cares about the success or failure of her students, to those who value the quality of the learning process and are aiming towards achieving a certain result!

RussiaI decided to study Spanish because I knew I could not easily visit with friends living in Spanish-speaking countries. At first, I wasn’t really comfortable with the idea of studying Spanish by Skype, but there wasn’t any other option because my work schedule didn’t allow for travelling to any sort of language centre. I looked for a teacher for a long time, and was very glad to find Juan. Juan is a very talented and well qualified teacher. I didn’t really expect that lessons by Skype would turn out to be so comfortable, productive, and interesting. The time flies by; the lessons are planned very well, and the atmosphere of the lessons is friendly and pleasant. But the main thing is that I see results, and that is very inspiring!

GreeceHello everyone, my name is Oksana. I have been studying Greek for several years and have been looking for the opportunity to chat with a native speaker through Skype for a long time. Why through Skype in particular? My free time is extremely limited, and moreover, Athens is a big city and getting from one place to another can take a lot of time, what with traffic jams and well-attended strikes. It seems to me that is is much nicer to study in the comfort of your home surroundings at a time that is convenient for you. For this reason, Skype is simply this century's brilliant solution! And now about my Greek lessons with Amalia. I just adore her and recommend that everyone take lessons with this excellent teacher. Amalia is a very lively person, and her explanations make the material accessible and easy to understand. In our lessons she always listens to my wishes and, more than this, she speaks several foreign languages very well indeed! Each one of our lessons passes by in the blink of an eye, and I am always looking forward to the next one! She is a dream of a teacher! I have only been studying for a few months but I already see results: I have begun to be able to better express my ideas and have enriched my vocabulary. I will absolutely continue studying with Amalia.
