Hello everyone, my name is Oksana. I have been studying Greek for several years and have been looking for the opportunity to chat with a native speaker through Skype for a long time. Why through Skype in particular? My free time is extremely limited, and moreover, Athens is a big city and getting from one place to another can take a lot of time, what with traffic jams and well-attended strikes. It seems to me that is is much nicer to study in the comfort of your home surroundings at a time that is convenient for you. For this reason, Skype is simply this century's brilliant solution! And now about my Greek lessons with Amalia. I just adore her and recommend that everyone take lessons with this excellent teacher. Amalia is a very lively person, and her explanations make the material accessible and easy to understand. In our lessons she always listens to my wishes and, more than this, she speaks several foreign languages very well indeed! Each one of our lessons passes by in the blink of an eye, and I am always looking forward to the next one! She is a dream of a teacher! I have only been studying for a few months but I already see results: I have begun to be able to better express my ideas and have enriched my vocabulary. I will absolutely continue studying with Amalia.

I already knew that studying by Skype was a great opportunity to study with a native speaker, and also save time and money; then I came across the online school, Language Life. My choice was influenced by the straightforward and convenient payment methods, and also by the teaching staff.

I wanted to study with Florinda and, as I thought, she is indeed a wonderful teacher! She has teaching experience, knows the Russian language (she also knows English and French), which helps her explain the grammar, and she is mindful of the student’s wishes. The trial lesson and text helped in choosing the textbooks and in planning the lessons. I study twice a week. Each lesson consists of checking/analyzing the homework; grammar, reading, … but the main thing is that I listen and try to understand the living language, that we socialize and discuss different themes. My daughter is seven years old. At the moment we are living in Belarus. In order to help my daughter not forget her second native language and to learn the rules of Greek, I began to look on the internet for a teacher and native speaker of Greek so as to take lessons through Skype. I was not yet certain, at that point, about this form of study. We had concerns about how our child would receive information through the camera, how she would react to a remote teacher during the lesson, and how the teacher would themselves be...

Fate granted us the opportunity to get to know Amalia. Our first conversation satisfied me, but I still had doubts with regards to how my daughter would receive information through Skype. I was pleasantly surprised to find that lessons through Skype can give such great results. My daughter really loves her lessons with Amalia, and she even does her homework happily! From the third lesson, I left my daughter to her lesson with Amalia without fears.

Amalia is a very considerate teacher and she is able to find a common language with children and deliver the material in an interesting way. She teaches with love and she is strict, but is always smiling. We even became friends, and we are looking forward to meeting in Greece when we go on vacation to see my husband!
