I was inclined to be very skeptical about studying a language via Skype, but I decided to try the free trial lesson. I liked my teacher, Serena, so much that I decided to continue on with lessons. Serena is very professional in the way she conducts the lesson; in fact, it doesn’t even feel like a lesson. She skillfully sees the gaps and unobtrusively instructs so that you feel as if you can already speak the language right away. Another great thing, of course, is that you save time not having to travel. I can’t imagine now a more effective way of studying. The school has without doubt a great future. Yulia manages the school like a perfect conductor, knowing which teacher is the best match for which student. I am learning Italian, and it’s my third foreign language. I am sure that, had I known about this school earlier, I would already have learned another couple of languages by now, taking into consideration the convenience, the reasonable rates, and the travel time saved.

I started studying English more than two years ago. I can’t imagine my life now without these lessons. Several months ago, I started working with Steve to improve my knowledge of English, and also to get practical experience conversing with a native English speaker. Everyone knows that, in order to really learn a language, you have to immerse yourself in it completely, feel it, and not be afraid to talk with native speakers of that language. Steve is an excellent teacher, and studying English with him is easy and straightforward. In the time I’ve been working with him, he has become more of a friend than a teacher. I can discuss all sorts of topics with him: future plans, work, new movies, literature, and in so doing I am developing my fluency in English. Another plus is that Steve is studying Russian, so he knows better than anyone how difficult it is to study a foreign language, and this means he has his own particular approach to the program of study, and his own particular teaching style. In studying with Steve, I have become more confident in conversations with clients, and my knowledge of grammar, and my reading have greatly improved. I am grateful to Steve for his ability to explain complex things in a straightforward way so that they are easy to understand.

My daughter is seven years old. At the moment we are living in Belarus. In order to help my daughter not forget her second native language and to learn the rules of Greek, I began to look on the internet for a teacher and native speaker of Greek so as to take lessons through Skype. I was not yet certain, at that point, about this form of study. We had concerns about how our child would receive information through the camera, how she would react to a remote teacher during the lesson, and how the teacher would themselves be...

Fate granted us the opportunity to get to know Amalia. Our first conversation satisfied me, but I still had doubts with regards to how my daughter would receive information through Skype. I was pleasantly surprised to find that lessons through Skype can give such great results. My daughter really loves her lessons with Amalia, and she even does her homework happily! From the third lesson, I left my daughter to her lesson with Amalia without fears.

Amalia is a very considerate teacher and she is able to find a common language with children and deliver the material in an interesting way. She teaches with love and she is strict, but is always smiling. We even became friends, and we are looking forward to meeting in Greece when we go on vacation to see my husband!
