I want to tell you about my teacher, Chiara. When studying a language, the most important is not ability or the time you are willing to spend achieving the desired results. The most important is the specialist who is leading you to your goals. I began studying with Chiara as part of a small group , and then, when she left Russia, my lessons continued through Skype. I was skeptical towards the idea of lessons through Skype but I really didn't want to lose this teacher. And I was not misled – there are many advantages to studying through Skype as well: you don't need to run off anywhere after your lesson, your lessons take place in a comfortable environment, and most importantly, these are individual lessons. Individual lessons are twice as effective as group lessons, I can already see! And now about Chiara. She is a teacher sent from heaven: she is not simply a native speaker, she knows how to teach people how to converse to understand the structure and grammar. Chiara employs her own teaching method, using contemporary Italian textbooks which have been developed specially for teaching foreigners. She is demanding, not only with regards to her students, but also with regards to herself: I have not met Italians with such a string work ethic although I need Italian for work and am in daily contact with them. I can say that I am learning Italian thanks to this specialist. And I heartily recommend Chiara to those who want to get results: believe me! With her, you'll get them! Buon studio a tutti!

I already knew that studying by Skype was a great opportunity to study with a native speaker, and also save time and money; then I came across the online school, Language Life. My choice was influenced by the straightforward and convenient payment methods, and also by the teaching staff.

I wanted to study with Florinda and, as I thought, she is indeed a wonderful teacher! She has teaching experience, knows the Russian language (she also knows English and French), which helps her explain the grammar, and she is mindful of the student’s wishes. The trial lesson and text helped in choosing the textbooks and in planning the lessons. I study twice a week. Each lesson consists of checking/analyzing the homework; grammar, reading, … but the main thing is that I listen and try to understand the living language, that we socialize and discuss different themes. I’ve been studying English by Skype with Clare for about a month now. After every lesson, she gives me homework, and we discuss the homework in the next lesson; we also discuss various topics. Clare is an educated and well-rounded person, and I can talk about any topic with her. I consider these lessons very effective in that they help to overcome psychological barriers and develop one’s language skill. I notice that I’ve already begun to say certain phrases and expressions without thinking about the translation.
